About this site

Este sitio reúne, organiza y presenta el material disponible sobre el Ferrocarril Nacional de Chiriquí: su historia, sus rutas, sus estaciones, su material rodante y, sobre todo, las fotografías que documentan su existencia. Fue creado en 2026, año del 110.º aniversario de la inauguración del ferrocarril, como apoyo a las iniciativas locales de rescate del patrimonio ferroviario chiricano.

This site gathers, organizes, and presents the available material on the Chiriquí National Railway: its history, routes, stations, rolling stock, and above all the photographs that document its existence. It was created in 2026 —the 110th anniversary of the railway's inauguration— in support of local efforts to rescue Chiriquí's railway heritage.

El sitio está disponible en español e inglés y se ha diseñado siguiendo el estilo editorial del sitio oficial del Ferrocarril de Panamá (panarail.com), adaptado a la identidad regional chiricana.

The site is available in Spanish and English and follows the editorial style of the official Panama Railroad site (panarail.com), adapted to the regional identity of Chiriquí.
